How to use the Disaster Management System The main function of this system is the Search There are two kinds of searches that can be conducted on this site: Simple Search The simple search allows the user to type in a keyword and then search for records withat keyword contained in them. Advanced Search The advanced search in addition to allowing a text based search also allows a user to select other key fields with which to narrow the search. These keyfields are presented as predefined lists that allow you to pick a combination of keywords that you would like to find. The list includes the following: Disaster Addressed Country Type of institution Area of Expertise Scope of work In addition it is possible to download the questionnaire, fill it in and send it back to us and we will update the Disaster Management System.
