GC Today - 7 February 2007

Mr Yvo de Boer, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), addressed the Plenary on the climate change debate. Mr De Boer stated that climate change had moved to the top of the political agenda, because of climate change itself, and because of related issues of rising fossil fuel prices, energy security and issues of public health linked to air pollution.
