GC Today - 8 February 2007

The Plenary received and discussed the reports of the ministerial roundtable discussions on globalization and UN reform. The Committee of the Whole deliberated on the implementation of UNEP’s programme of work and the relevant decisions, and considered draft decisions. As a side event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) hosted a discussion on the findings of a recent report on the links between Environment and Globalization.
