Today on the Elephants

The pink elephants carousel is one of a number exhibits organised by UNEP to highlight its work related to globalisation and the environment. Passengers on the carousel watch short films featuring subjects such as UNEP’s work with children and youth, ‘Melting Ice: A Hot Topic?’—the theme of World Environment Day 5 June 2007)—the plight of great apes, deserts, cold water corals and cloud forests.
