DESERTS AND GLOBAL CLIMATE
DESERTS AND DUST
CROSS-DESERT RIVERS OF NON-DESERT SOURCES
Deserts are not only highly constrained by water,
but their water supply greatly depends on climatic
processes operating away from them, either those
involved in the generation of desert rainfall, or
in generating flows of rivers that enter deserts.
Deserts also have effects on climate beyond their
boundaries, either directly or through the dust they
generate. |
