Regional Coordinating Unit
(RCU)

The Regional Coordinating Unit
was established in 1997 and is hosted by the Government
of the Seychelles which will oversee the Action
Plan for the region.
The purpose of establishing and
operating such a unit is to institutionalize the
mechanism for the exchange of information between
national focal points and the UNEP secretariat.
