Division of Early Warning and Assessment (DEWA)
DEWA provides the world community with improved access to meaningful environmental data and information help increase the capacity of governments to use environmental information for decision-making and action planning for sustainable human development.

Post Conflict & Disaster Management Branch (PCDMB)
The Post-Conflict & Disaster Management Branch (PCDMB) extends UNEP's work in areas of the world where the environment is impacted by conflicts and disasters, or where the environment is a factor contributing to conflicts and disaster impacts.

GRID Centres (GRID)
Global Resource Information Database (GRID) aims to provide and facilitate access to environmental data and information for decision-making and policy setting, and to underpin UNEP's review of the state of the world's environment and provide early warning on emerging environmental threats.

World Conservation Monitoring Center (WCMC)
WCMC provides information for policy and action to conserve the living world. Programmes concentrate on species, forests, protected areas, marine and freshwaters; plus habitats affected by climate change, such as polar regions.

Gems/Water Global Environment Monitoring System Freshwater Quality Programme
UNEP's Global Environment Monitoring System Water Programme is a multi-faceted water science programme oriented towards understanding inland water quality issues throughout the world.    

Project of Risk Evaluation, Vulnerability, Information & Early Warning
This project provides information about environmental disasters through a network of more than two hundred organizations active in various domains of early warning.
