"There has been a substantial increase in the population of two and three wheelers in the Asian region. In some countries, the population growth of two and three wheelers (motorbikes, bikes, e-bikes and auto-rickshaws) has, or is expected to, outpace the growth of cars. This growth poses several potential challenges that need to be addressed and managed.
The UNEP Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles (PCFV) and Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia) Center jointly prepared a publication to help inform Asian policy makers on the options for addressing some of these issues.
