The 2011 International Children's Painting Competition marked the 20th anniversary in 2011. Over 3 million children from some 100 countries have participated in the competition since 1991. Selected winners of the Painting Competition (the 20th and previous editions) had a chance to join 1,400 other young people at the 2011 UNEP Tunza International Children and Youth Conference in Bandung, Indonesia to discuss their inputs to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development "Rio+20" in June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of the main outcomes of the Tunza Conference was a "Bandung Declaration" - a global youth statement on sustainable development. Download images and Bandung Declaration here
