Sochi 2014 joins the Billion Tree Campaign on World Environment Day |
|
To mark World Environment Day and to joining the Billion Trees Campaign, employees of the Organizing Committee, Sochi 2014, General Partners, Sochi 2014 Ambassador the world champion on figure skating Oksana Domnina; famous athletes - 3 times Olympic champion on synchronized swimming Maria Kiseleva and Olympc medalist Ilya Averbukh, planted trees in both Moscow and Sochi as part of a worldwide campaign to benefit the environment. Dmitry Chernyshenko, President and CEO of Sochi 2014, received a certificate to commemorate Sochi 2014’s participation in this major scheme. |
