AAR The essence of AAR’s approach to managed care is summed up simply as: AAR does not exist to put things right when they go wrong. Rather, AAR’s working philosophy is to prevent things from going wrong in the first place. Proper environmental management is the key to avoiding at least a quarter of all preventable illnesses which thereafter can positively influence individual well being. At AAR we care and strive to engage in encouraging and participating in initiatives such as the Billion Tree Campaign with an aim of ultimately saving lives. |

Accor Accor has confirmed its sustainable environment commitment by committing to the “Plant for the Planet: Billion Tree Campaign” launched by the United Nations Environment Programme. The project is an especially innovative global reforestation programme: the hotels pledge to finance tree planting projects with the savings on laundry costs occurring when guests keep their bath towels for more than one night. This project should enable to finance the planting of three million trees by 2012. Accor hotels in 100 countries will take part in projects in seven of the world’s forest regions, working closely with seven associations chosen for their ability to manage planting programs while also developing economic benefits for local communities. |
