Third Meeting of the Global Alliance to Eliminate Lead Paint

The Third meeting of the Global Alliance to Eliminate Lead Paint (GAELP) was held on Wednesday 24 September 2014, in conjunction with a Workshop on Establishing Legal Limits on Lead in Paint, 22-23 September 2014. 

Both events were hosted at the WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia, New Delhi, India

The purpose of the Third meeting of the Global Alliance was to review progress of actions to eliminate lead paint and to catalyse new activities to implement the Business Plan priorities of the Global Alliance. 

The Third meeting provided a forum to discuss matters that could be brought to the attention of the second session of the Open Ended Working Group which will make preparations for the fourth session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management.
