Invitation letters (EnglishFrench and Spanish), dated 14 February 2012, have been sent to UNEP's official contact point in each Government, with copies to the SAICM national focal point and Permanent Missions in Geneva and Nairobi (if applicable). Invitation letters have also been sent out to intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Regarding accommodation, please note that the Government of Uruguay has provided participants with a centralized booking system through a travel agency.

For more practical information and accommodation booking, please visit: www.jetmarcongresos.com/en/inc4.html. This site also includes a booking site for transport from the airport at Montevideo to Punta del Este, as arranged by the Government of Uruguay. Prebooking is essential to ensure sufficient transport is available.

Delegates should be informed that they may need to provide a photo ID as a deposit on headsets to access simultaneous interpretation as well as for laptop loan during the INC.
