Thirteenth Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF -13)

In preparation for its twelfth special session of the Governing Council/ Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GC/GMEF) to be held from 20^th to 22^nd February 2012 in Nairobi, UNEP is organizing the thirteenth Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF-13) from 18^th -19^th February 2012 in Nairobi. This forum is meant to facilitate Major Groups and Stakeholders of Civil Society participation in the UNEP Governing Council and its associated meetings. GMGSF-13 will also provide a platform and one of the last opportunities for Major Groups and Stakeholders and Governments to exchange on their respective positions for Rio+20 and strategize further for the conference itself.
