Portraits of Resilience trains children in the Arctic and small islands developing states in the use of photography and other digital media. It brings the faces and perspectives of these young people to the attention of the public and to decision-makers at international climate change negotiations and other venues. Portraits of Resilience is led by two professional photographers with extensive experience documenting human/environment interactions. The project is part of the Many Strong Voices programme, which brings together people in the Arctic and SIDS to pressure governments to reduce GHG emissions in order to give them time to adapt to changes already underway.
