Workshop Goal
To increase knowledge of the impacts of climate change and to ultimately factor these impacts into UNEP’s programming, including its GEF projects.
Training Objectives
- To orient participants to methods and tools currently available for the assessment of vulnerability to climate change and the integration of climate risks into project and program design (i.e., “climate-proofing”);
- To strengthen technical knowledge and enhance access to relevant resources related to vulnerability and adaptation to climate change;
- To provide hands-on training in the identification and integration of climate risks into project formulation.
