Frameworks AS offers high quality services and consultancy within website development, application and database development and consultancy services within the fields of environmental reporting and climate neutrality processes.
Established in 2003, Frameworks has 4 dedicated employees and we are co-located with UNEP/GRID-Arendal, Norway. We have solid experience and expertise working internet frameworks for environmental information and reporting. We deliver state of the art solutions to national and international governmental bodies.
Strategy
Frameworks has decided to become a climate neutral from 2009, following the UN guidelines to climate neutrality: “Kick the Habit”, through the following steps:
- Decision (board decision made)
- Measure our climate footprint - We will measure our emissions of greenhouse gases in 2008 as a baseline, using the Green House Gas protocol principles for Scope 1 and 2 + travel (climate compensation for travel has been done since 2007)
- Reduce – We will set goals for reducing the emissions in the years to come
- Offset – We will purchase offsets to compensate for the remaining emissions from the UN Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), starting from 2009.
- Inform and Inspire - We will inform and inspire, in particular our customers and employees, on our climate neutral strategy, and strive to develop banking products that contributes to develop goods and services that contribute to reduce the climate footprint in our region.
- Repeat – We will go through this cycle again on an annual basis
