About
ACTUA360, based in Santiago, Chile, aims to provide strategic advice to its clients in terms of design and implementation of sustainability strategies, that may go from environmental affairs, normative compliance, impact assessments, environmental and occupational due diligences, to social insertion of projects into communities, citizen participations facing big environmental studies, carbon footprinting, sustainability learning programs, among other issues.
The business as usual situation will no longer be similar to a succesful business. ACTUA360 offers a different approach to go case2case, finding key drivers that will generate value to investors, employees, the society, to the environment, in all 360°, to enhance the companies' competitiveness, maximizing the benefit for all the value chain. That is sustainability.
Strategy
ACTUA360 will maximize web based meetings, minimize printing material, recycling the used paper for writing down self-notes, will promote the use of public transport, minimize its own electricity consumption and measure and neutrilze its carbon footprint for 2010 operations (for November and December). They will establish an environmental accountability management system to follow up their performance, on a monthly basis.
ACTUA360's strategy to reduce GHG emissions is based on training which means that the best approach is not generating any GHG at all. They will account their electric consumption monthly, will select their equipments/ computers and any other gear, based on the energy consumption of it, will hardly push their clients and staff to use public transport or share cars, and the emissions that cannot be minimized, will be subject to compensation. The compensation will be done in projects that have a social component on their scheme through local empowerment of social skills.
