About

Green Ochre (GO) is an environmental performance improvement company. GO works with customers to determine energy, water and waste savings and uses leading methods to develop an environmental management systems (EMS) approach.

Strategy

Green Ochre (GO) has a strategy to be climate neutral by the end of 2010. GO is developing an EMS to be EMAS compliant by 2011. Their EMS considers all aspects of the environment and includes specific objectives, target and actions for each area. Their EMS is specifically tailored for SME's and is an example of how micro and small businesses can implement effective and simple environmental change. GO off-sets carbon emissions associated with their scope 1 & 2 emissions and and implements paper, plastics and organic waste recycling associated with their activities. GO has also taken on the WWF One Planet Living initiative and embedded this within their EMS. This is also a reflection of their commitment to a climate neutral strategy.
