Bangladesh
Bangladesh Water Partnership (BWP) organised a day long workshop on 29 December 2001 in Dhaka to disseminate the findings and the recommendations of the World Commission on Dams (WCD).
Two keynote papers were presented in the workshop. The first paper was based on the findings and recommendations of the WCD's final report. The second discussed the WCD's thematic study on assessment of options for flood control and management. Eminent water experts, engineers, economists, planners, environmentalists and social workers took part in the deliberations.
