The Process

The AEO-for-Youth will be developed using a participatory process that brings together individuals and organizations from all over Africa. During the Global Youth Retreat (GYR) 2003 held at the UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi, the African caucus choose six Sub-regional Officers who will coordinate the AEO-for-Youth activities in their sub-regions and liase with the Regional Officer and the AEO Regional Coordinator at UNEP headquarters. AEO-for-Youth will also benefit from the expertise of a variety of advisors, as well as a strong network of National Focal Points.  For a more detailed representation of AEO-for-Youth’s organizational structure, click here
