An exhibition prepared by UNEP based on work undertaken with key partners. The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon. Prof. Wangari Maathai, Assistant Minister, Ministry for Environment and Natural Resources, on 15 September 2004 at the Goethe Institute in Nairobi. The exhibition was part of the cultural event "Facing Mountains", organised jointly at the Goethe Institute and La Maison Francaise with support from the embassies of Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
