Earth Report

On air since 1996, the series tracks UNEP’s global issues and concerns. UNEP puts up ideas and is consulted on factual accuracy, but the final content of the programmes is decided on a strictly editorially-independent basis by TVE.

Broadcast first on BBC World TV to 253 million homes in 200 countries and territories. Five broadcasts a week:

Mondays – 21:30 (GMT)

Tuesdays – 01.30; 09.30(GMT)

Saturdays – 18.30(GMT)

Sundays – 07.30 (GMT)

Local broadcast times available from www.bbcworld.com.

Reviews on www.bbcnews (science and environment section) with 13 million hits per day

Re-transmitted on subscriber stations in countries such as China and Republic of Korea, reaching on average 350-400 million TV homes each week 150 Earth Report programmes broadcast.
