Launch of the Sourcebook

The UNEP Sourcebook will be officially launched at a side event in the margins of Ramsar COP 12

The aim of the Sourcebook is to provide National Focal Points of the major Biodiversity-related Conventions as well as other stakeholders working on these conventions, with options to achieve enhanced implementation of the conventions through enhanced cooperation.

The Special theme of the Twelfth Course is Climate Change.

The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) are jointly organizing, in co-operation with the Fudan University Law School and UNEP-Tongji University Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development, a high profile two-week Course on international environmental law-making and diplomacy at Nordic Centre and Fudan University, Shanghai, China.

2nd UNEP-INTERPOL Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Committee  Conference

A follow-up to the 1st UNEP-INTERPOL International Environmental Compliance and Enforcement. The Conference will bring together executive leaders from around the world to deliberate on issues associated with communication and networking between governments, non-governmental organizations and the private sector; mechanisms to expedite the exchange and maximize the storage of data, information and intelligence and collaboration surrounding transnational investigations and operational actions.
