Robert Muasya
Robert Muasya is a career wildlife manager with a service spanning for 27 years. Much of his service has been in wildlife security as a Company Commander and 11 years as the Commanding officer of the KWS Law Enforcement Academy where all uniformed officers attend paramilitary training. He has also worked as Head of wildlife investigation and also served as the Head of Parks and Reserves. Robert has been the Head of Wildlife Protection (Anti-poaching) since September 2013 at a time when there was run away poaching of elephants and rhinos and is currently the acting Deputy Director Security in KWS. His current key responsibilities involve ensuring security of wildlife, coordination of intelligence gathering , wildlife crime investigations and uniformed officer training. His work involves close collaboration with other law enforcement agencies at local, regional and international levels.
