Paolo Revellino
Paolo Revellino is consultant on Sport and Environment in UNEP, where he is currently working on an environmental assessment of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

From 2001 to 2006 he has been Head of Sustainability of the Organising Committee for the XX Olympic Winter Games Torino 2006. He was responsible for the overall environmental sustainability of the Games, ranging from the National and International stakeholders relationships management, to the design of the Environmental Management System of the Committee and the implementation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment procedure. His team also elaborated, on a yearly basis, the Torino 2006 Sustainability Report.

Prior to the appointment Mr. Revellino has served several years as Programme Officer of the Energy and Environment Department of the Italian National Entrepreneurial Association, dealing with industrial ecology related matters.

He holds an advanced university degree in Natural Sciences. He is married and has two daughters.
