Julia Crause
Julia Crause is responsible for cooperation with UN-HABITAT and the Cities Alliance within UNEP's Urban Environment Unit. She is also managing activities on cities and biodiversity which are being carried out in cooperation with the Convention on Biological Diversity and other partners.

A social anthropologist specialized in urban anthropology, Julia Crause came to UNEP in 1999 as an assistant in the Executive Director's Office. She later worked for UNEP's Youth Programme and as the Special Assistant to the Executive Director before moving to the Urban Environment Unit in 2005. Before joining UNEP, she worked as a project assistant for the German capacity building institution InWent and organized trainings in the field of natural resources and environment.
