Arab Hoballah
Arab Hoballah has served as the Chief of the Sustainable Consumption and Production Branch in the Division of Technology, Industry and Economics of UNEP since October 2005.

Prior to this post, he spent 14 years working in the UNEP Regional Seas programme as the Deputy Coordinator of the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP). He was also responsible for the Secretariat of the Mediterranean Commission on Sustainable Development. Between 1991 and 1998, he was the Deputy Director of the Blue Plan, one of MAP's Regional Activity Centres. Prior to 1991, he worked for several institutions, including several years with World Bank projects in developing countries.

Dr. Hoballah holds the following degrees: Economic Tools and Prospective Analysis (MSc), International Relations (MSc) and Economic Development (PhD).
