Peter Repinski
Peter Repinski is the focal point for UNEP's Division of Technology, Industry and Economics in North America. Based in Washington D.C., his role includes raising awareness about UNEP through the engagement of North American stakeholders in UNEP's industry activities, such as the Sustainable Building and Construction Initiative .

Peter joined UNEP in 2002, and his first posting was in the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand. There, he worked on a number of industry projects across Asia dealing with energy efficiency and cleaner production issues. He played a key role in the development of the Energy Efficiency Guide for Industry in Asia - a hands-on tool for business to reduce energy use, production costs and greenhouse gas emissions.

Peter previously worked with business risk consulting at Andersen in Sweden and on European environmental policy in Brussels Belgium. He has a master's degree in earth sciences from Stockholm University and a master's in environmental management from the National Technical University of Athens, Erasmus University, Rotterdam and Imperial College, London. He also studied leadership and business at Columbia University School of Business.
