Catherine McMullen
Catherine McMullen is the editor of, and a writer for, the UNEP Year Book. Her scientific background is in Fluvial Geomorphology and she has a degree in Science Writing with a specialty in Earth System Science. She has worked for the Foreign Affairs and International Trade Department of Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency, the US National Academy of Sciences, Friends of the Earth Canada, and Greenpeace International - though not in that order.

Prior to joining UNEP, Catherine spent a year in Afghanistan and produced a section for the Odyssey Guidebook series called 'Landscapes of Afghanistan'.
