Susanne Bech
Susanne Bech is working in the Scientific Assessment Branch, Division of Early Warning and Assessment of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on science and research related projects such as the Programme of Research on Climate Change Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation and the UNEP Year Book series on emerging issues in our global environment. Susanne was lead coordinator of the UNEP Year Book 2011 chapter on "Emerging Perspectives on Forest Biodiversity". Her expertise is in emerging environmental challenges, environmental impact assessment and risk analysis, impact evaluation and project management.

She holds degrees in political science and international relations from Copenhagen University and the College of Europe.
