Jihee Han
Jihee Han, a national of Republic of Korea, is Head for the education team of the UNEP National Committee for the Republic of Korea. She joined the UNEP National Committee in April 2010, and is based in Seoul, Korea. She graduated with a degree in English linguistics and Environmental Science from a Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

Ms Han has covered a variety of education programmes for youth and children in Korea, including publishing the Tunza magazine in Korean. Since 2010 she has been coordinating the "EcoFriendz" project. "EcoFriendz" is an effective educational tool for children and youth to learn about climate change and help build action plans based on the concept of Game Based Learning. UNEP National Committee R.O.K developed this game in cooperation with UNEP HQ, the Korea Creative Content Agency, and the NHN Corporation under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Korea. The objective of the game is to offer a fun and interactive educational tool to raise awareness and knowledge about climate change among children. It motivates children to learn through a storyline as well as allows users to experience the virtual outcomes of climate change. Ecofriendz is currently translated into English,Spanish,Chinese,French,Korean.
