Nick Muller
Nick Muller joined the Economics Department and the Environmental Studies Program at Middlebury College as an assistant professor in the fall of 2007. Dr. Muller teaches microeconomics, environmental and natural resource economics, and a course focusing on environmental policy in the United States. His current research focuses on measuring the damages due to air pollution emissions from each industry in the United States economy, quantifying the ancillary benefits of carbon dioxide reductions, and characterizing the uncertainty associated with empirical marginal damage estimates produced with integrated assessment models. Dr. Muller has published or has manuscripts forthcoming in the American Economic Review (2), Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Environmental and Resource Economics, The Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Nature Climate Change, Environmental Science & Technology, The Berkeley Electronic Press' Journal of Economic Analysis (2,) and Policy, Water Resources Research, Environment International, and Environmetrics.
