Derek Tittensor
Derek Tittensor is a research scientist working on issues of marine biodiversity and human impacts upon the marine environment. His work to date has involved a combination of statistical analysis, fieldwork, and experimental approaches. He is currently based in Cambridge (UK), where he works with the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre and Microsoft Research to develop a global ecosystem model. His research has been covered by numerous media outlets such as Wired magazine and the BBC.
He holds a BSc in Mathematics, an MSc in Computational Science, and a PhD in Biology.
