Hanh Le
Hanh has been working on climate change policies and technologies over the last 7 years and currently working with UNEP’s Technology Transfer Unit based in Paris. In particular, she leads parts of the work programme supporting the Network of Climate Change Offices of the ten Southeast Asian countries. As such, she is involved in designing and delivering capacity building activities covering climate negotiation capacity, mitigation, adaptation, GHG Inventory, climate governance and market-based policy instruments. Prior to joining UNEP, Hanh served as a Policy Advisor to the Ministery of Energy and Climate Change Issues of New Zealand for 4 years covering biofuels/bioenergy policies, retail natural gas market and carbon capture & storage (CCS). She also worked with the Asian Development Bank on the CCS technology in Southeast Asia and was a researcher at CDC Climate with a focus on post-Kyoto Protocol New Market Mechanisms.
