Anne-France White
Anne-France White is an Information Officer at UNEP headquarters in Nairobi (Kenya), responsible for helping to communicate the organizations work to media around the globe. She drafts press releases, takes queries from journalists and researchers on UNEPs projects and initiatives, sets up interviews, organizes press conferences and devises media strategies for major UNEP events. She is also involved in some of UNEP's global awareness-raising campaigns including World Environment Day and 'Play for Life', a campaign between UNEP and sportlifestyle company PUMA to support the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity.

Before joining UNEP, Anne-France spent four years working as a journalist in Brussels where she reported on EU current affairs, covering several fields from trade to agriculture, consumer affairs and foreign relations.

Anne-France holds a Masters degree in European Politics from Oxford University and a BA from University College London. A dual citizen of France and the USA, she grew up in several countries including Jamaica, Egypt, Tanzania, and Russia.
