Naomi Poulton
Naomi Poulton is Head of the UNEP Publications Unit. She also acted as Officer-in-Charge of UNEP's Division of Communications and Public Information for six months in the absence of the Director, and was actively involved in preparations for global World Environment Day 2008 activities.

She has served as Head of the UNEP Publications Unit since 1998 where her main responsibilities include: writing & editing; running the Publishing Board; coordinating Our Planet magazine; compiling UNEP's publications catalogue; advising UNEP divisions on matters pertaining to publishing; and supervising the Graphics Unit.

Prior to joining UNEP, Naomi worked as a freelance writer and editor for publishers and NGOs in the UK and in Kenya. This included magazines such as: South, Flight International, Executive and Sparkle.

Naomi holds a BA Honours degree in Politics from Durham University in the UK and a Diploma in Herbal Medicine from the Australasian College in Portland, USA.
