Christine Gibb
Christine Gibb is the NGO Focal Point/Children and Youth Focal Point at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity. She is responsible for coordinating outreach activities such as the Green Wave, supporting biodiversity and youth initiatives, and encouraging the involvement of children and youth in the global biodiversity agenda. In her capacity as the NGO Focal Point, she supports the participation of civil society in the Convention and its implementation.

Christines prior work includes avian research and public outreach with Queens University, participatory research with farmers and their families in sub-Saharan Africa with Honey Care Africa and the University of Guelph, and facilitation of youth international development projects.

Raised in Quebec, Canada, Christine was trained as a biologist at Queens University in Kingston, Canada and as a social scientist at the University of Guelph, Canada.
