Jon Hutton
Jon Hutton is a biodiversity specialist at UNEP's Division of Early Warning Assessment, World Conservation Monitoring Centre. Hutton has extensive experience in many aspects of international wildlife conservation, including CITES and wildlife trade, protected area management, community-based conservation, the sustainable use of natural resources and the relationship between conservation and poverty.

Hutton is holder of a Masters degree in Applied Biology (University of Cambridge) and a PhD in Ecology (University of Zimbabwe). He has published over 50 scientific and technical papers, including work on sustainable use, land use and planning, institutional issues, and conservation policy.
