Mette Annelie Rasmussen
Mette Annelie Rasmussen works as Information and outreach coordinator at UNEP Risoe Centre (URC). URC is a UNEP collaborating centre based in Denmark. The Centre supports the work of the Energy branch in DTIE and the implementation of UNEPs climate change activities more broadly.

At URC she is responsible for production of publications, development of outreach and media plans for URC projects and serves as editor for two news letters E+ and GNESD News. She is also responsible for helping to communicate UNEPs and URCs work to Danish and international media. In addition, she is also part of the Secretariat, that supports the Global Network on Energy for Sustainable Development in its outreach and information activites.

Before joining URC, Mette has working in the US, Zambia and Georgia within the field of communication for development and change, for a number of bi and multilateral organizations

Mette holds a MA in History and Communication from University of Roskilde, Denmark and University of Massachusetts, Amherst, US.
