Nick Nuttall
Nick Nuttall is the Director of the Division of Communications and Public Information as well as being the UNEP Spokesperson and Spokesperson to the Executive Director, Principal Speechwriter and Creative Writer to the Executive Director and UNEP's Head of Media.

Nick joined UNEP in 2001 after a career in journalism spanning some 15 years. From 1989 until December 2000, he was the Environment and also the Technology Correspondent of The Times newspaper in London, England, covering international and national environmental issues as well as science, technology, politics and health subjects.

Prior to this he worked for various publications including the Daily Telegraph, the Independent, the London Evening News and Evening Standard, Cosmopolitan and Woman magazine.

From 1981 until 1985 Nick was a stockbroker first working for OTC Net in Denver, Colorado and afterwards for Merril Lynch in London. He also briefly was lead singer with a pop group, The Albany Bridge Band, based in the United States, from 1979 until 1981.

Nick has a BSc from the University of St Andrews, Scotland and is married with three children, two cats and dog called Smudge. His hobbies include tennis, music, reading, gardening and Nick is a passionate and long enduring supporter of Burnley FC.
