Marie Daher
Mrs. Daher is the Information and Outreach Officer at the United Nations Environment Programme, Regional Office for West Asia. She has a graduate diploma from the Journalism Institute of Paris, a Masters degree in Information and Documentation from the Lebanese University in Beirut and a certificate in development from the New Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She worked as a Human Rights Officer at UNOHCHR in Geneva. Her career prior to the UN includes collectively fifteen years in international television Channels such as LBCI and Kuwait TV, and also as an Information Officer and consultant for a number of NGOs. She has many publications and TV productions on political, social, environmental and human rights issues.
