Annemarie Kinyanjui
Annemarie Kinyanjui works as a United Nations Volunteer within the Transport Unit of the Division of Technology, Industry and Economics. She is responsible for waste management, air pollution and transport issues in Kenya among other tasks.

Since joining UNEP in 2007, she has been supporting the City Council of Nairobi in developing an Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan for Nairobi. She also supports the Program Officer for Africa in developing clean fuel and vehicle programmes at the regional, sub-regional and national level through the UNEP based Clearing-House of the Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles.

Prior to joining UNEP, Annemarie was on internship at the National Museums of Kenya where she worked as an Assistant Research Scientist. She holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya.
