Joyce Sang
Joyce Sang is a Programme Assistant with the Outreach Unit , UNEP, in Nairobi, where she engages young people in environmental issues and processes. She works to ensure the active participation of young people in UNEP and in UN special events, such as World Environment Day and the Billion Tree Campaign. She coordinates logistics and publicity for many youth-related events, including: the biannual children and youth conferences, the annual international childrens painting competition, the Bayer Young Envoy programme, the Play for the Planet programme, and the UNEP Sports and Peace Initiative.

Prior to joining UNEP, Joyce worked with community-based and faith-based organizations in educational and environmental projects in rural and urban settings.
As a member of the International Leadership Institute in Minneapolis, U.S.A, she organized fundraisers for various projects across Africa funded by ILI. She also coordinated ILI's environmental activities in Minneapolis schools. Joyce has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
