Piotr Mikolajczyk
Mr. Mikolajczyk graduated from the Department of Biology, Warsaw University and holds a Ph.D. degree in insect physiology from the same university.

He worked as a researcher and academic teacher at the Warsaw Universitys Zoological Institute, and as a research fellow with the US Department of Agriculture. Career progression brought him from research into the field of environment protection where he first worked as Environment Program Specialist with the US Peace Corps in Poland, and then was responsible for corporate relations of the Polish Programme of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Mr. Mikolajczyk is Senior Specialist in the GRID-Warsaw Centre in charge of broadbased project support and task management, external relations, promotion and related responsibilities.

Besides his core background in biology, Mr. Mikolajczyk possesses extensive experience in project management, as well as excellent interpersonal skills (e.g., conflict and problem solving, communication and networking, promotion, etc.). He is also fluent in written and spoken English and has a basic working knowledge of German and Russian.
