Liazzat Rabbiosi
Liazzat Rabbiosi is a programme officer with the Sustainable Consumption and Production Branch of UNEPs Division of Technology, Industry and Economics. She is responsible for the implementation of the 4-year EC funded project Enabling developing countries to seize eco-labelling opportunities capacity building and technical assistance, which aims to enhance the environmental efficiency of export products from six target countries through helping SMEs in those countries to get their products certified with the European eco-label.

Before joining DTIE, she worked in conservation and sustainable use of natural resources - particularly water and water-related ecosystems - with UNEPs Dams and Development Project on organizing multistakeholder dialogues on environmental and social issues of large water infrastructure, in academia and in the UN system in her home country, with a consultancy firm focusing on the environmental and social impact assessment of the oil and gas industry, and with the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, a multilateral environmental agreement.

She holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Masters in Environmental Studies from Strathclyde University in Scotland. She is a national of Kazakhstan, and in addition to her native Kazakh and Russian, speaks English, French and Italian.
