Moira O'Brien-Malone
Moira OBrien-Malone is head of communications at UNEPs Division of Technology, Industry and Economics based in Paris. Before joining UNEP, she was head of press for WWF International and manager of the communications department at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. She has close to three decades of experience as a journalist, working in Australia, Singapore and London, including as a news editor at Melbournes morning daily newspaper The Age.

Born in Perth, Western Australia, Moira studied journalism and film and TV production at the Western Australian Institute of Technology (now Curtin University), and was lucky enough to win a Rotary International fellowship to study masters level mass communications at Texas Tech University, in Lubbock, Texas.
