Stuart Roberts
Stuart is a national of Australia and Sweden, and joined UNEP in March 2010, as coordinator of the Climate Neutral Network (CN Net) - a UNEP initiative that promotes the global transition to carbon neutrality, through a global community of businesses, not-for-profit organizations, cities and states, all committed to reducing their carbon footprint.

Stuart began his career as a corporate litigation lawyer, where he worked on the largest case in Australian legal history. After observing large-scale financial mismanagement at close range, he worked for several years as a financial regulator, giving listed companies a tough time with their disclosure obligations, and overseeing large-scale corporate transactions.

Stuart worked for several years as a financial journalist and editor, in Australia and the UK, and assisted regulators in developing communications policy. He comes to UNEP from the Stockholm Environment Institute, where he was managing editor of the journal Climate and Development.
