Jessica Jacob
Jessica Jacob is UNEP FI Coordinator of the Latin American and African Task Force, before she was the Training Coordinator and joined UNEP-FI in January 2009. Jessica was born in Bogota, Colombia, but she has also the French and American nationalities. When she was seventeen years old she went to study French in Paris, where she realized her BA in Economics specialized in International and Development Economics at the Sorbonne Paris 1 University. The last year of studies she did it in Spain within the frame of a university exchange ERASMUS with the University of Alicante, where she graduated as the first in her promotion. After, Jessica realized a MSc in advances studies in Political and International Economics Sciences, in the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva.

During the masters she realized an internship of five months for the Swiss Government Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in which she carried out a study of micro finances in Bolivia. Then, she worked in Paris for HSBC Asset Management as a Requests for proposal Specialist during six months, work that she changed to became broker in inflation linked bonds, in one of the three biggest companies of the world in financial inter-mediation, call VIEL Tradition.

Since she was eleven years old, Jessica has been part of the Colombian national sailing team. She has represented her country in South American championships, in more than six worlds championships, her best achievement was arriving 3rd in a World Championship and she has arrived to a pre-Olympic level.
