Mohamed Affan Kolandaiveedu
Mohamed Affan Kolandaiveedu consults for the UNEP- Finance Initiative based in Geneva. He is working on the finance chapter of the Green Economy Report, part of the Green Economy Initiative specializing in the enabling policy and economic conditions for renewable energy and energy efficiency financing. He is also working on a paper on Financial Stability and Systemic Risk collaborating with the International Institute of Sustainable Development aimed at providing a platform for dialogue between private sector finance and policy makers.

Affan did his Masters in Environment and Development in London at the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics and Management from Singapore. He enjoys traveling, motor sports and is an avid reader. He is devoted to the cause of sustainable development especially in less-developed and developing countries and helps a London-based initiative called Worldview Impact aimed at achieving triple bottom line goals to reduce poverty and create jobs in the environment space in Sri Lanka, India, Ghana and Brazil.
